How It Works
Encryption: Files are encrypted using AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm, providing strong security for your sensitive documents.
Password Protection: Choose a strong password (at least 8 characters recommended). The password is never stored or transmitted to our servers.
Supported Formats:
- PDF files: Encrypted using AES - creates encrypted file (must decrypt with this tool)
- Images: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, BMP, SVG - encrypted binary format
- Other files: Any file type can be encrypted
How It Works:
- Files are encrypted using AES-256 encryption in your browser
- All processing happens locally - files never leave your device
- Encrypted files must be decrypted using this tool with the correct password
- Note: Encrypted files cannot be opened directly - decrypt first
